摘要: Objective: Several studies reported the local tissue reaction caused by mineral aggregate-based cements. However, few have investigated systemic effects promoted these cements on liver and kidney when directly applied to connective tissue. The purpose of this in vivo study was investigate effect livers kidneys rats. Material Methods: Samples Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) a calcium aluminate-based cement (EndoBinder) containing different radiopacifiers were implanted into dorsum 40 After 7 30 d, samples subcutaneous, tissues submitted histopathological analysis. A score (0-3) used grade inflammatory reaction. Blood collected evaluate changes hepatic renal functions animals. Results: moderate (2) observed for d subcutaneous decreased with time all thickness capsules also presented significant decrease (P<.05). Systemically, adverse reactions kidney, being more evident MTA, persisting until end Liver increased significantly MTA during Conclusion: induced locally limited from point view, kidney. For accentuated.
