摘要: The care of critically ill patients often requires the use many sophisticated techniques, including mechanical ventilation, invasive cardiac monitoring, continuous renal replacement, and a variety pharmacotherapies. Virtually every patient admitted to ICU will be treated with some drug, whether is suffering from multi-organ failure or solitary lobar pneumonia. Throughout hospital, there no other location which presents such challenges physician, proper dosing important not only for treatment underlying disease process, but also prevent drug toxicity in an unstable patient.
