摘要: In this work, the harvesting of Nannochloropsis oculata microalgae through use nanosized Fe3O4 immobilized in polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/sodium alginate (SA) as a flocculant (Fe3O4/PS) is investigated. Using Fe3O4/PS beads could reduce amount soluble ferrous ions (Fe2+) released from naked acid treatment, leading to easy recovery. The characterization was performed under different dosages and pH values Fe3O4/PS. results show that Fe3O4/PS, when applied algae culture (500 mg dry cell weight/L), achieves 96% efficiency conditions 4 with 200 mT magnetic field intensity. can be directly reused without adjusting value. recycled shows stability terms its surface properties, maintaining more than 80% after five recycles. Magnetophoretic harvesting, using iron oxide particle-based flocculant, potential method challenges related cost-effective microalgae-harvesting method.
