摘要: Abstract TiO 2 terpineol-based pastes with nanorods (NRs) of over 25 μm thickness have been prepared for the photoactive electrodes dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The NRs, a length approximately 80 nm and an aspect ratio about 3, are made by two-step hydrothermal process. They single crystalline anatase structure can be dispersed well in water ethanol. With high thermal stability larger surface area (47.2 m g − 1 ) than commercial particles (P25, 39.1 m ), well-dispersed NR films aggregate-free morphology transparent. For photocurrent–voltage measurements, cell exhibits short-circuit photocurrent (J SC under 1 Sun AM 1.5 simulated sunlight due to higher transmittance. open-circuit voltage (V OC is not obviously reduced incremental thickness, which results from one-dimensional less defects. As compared P25 cell, DSSCs NRs fill factor (FF) because uniform void spaces. An enhancement conversion efficiency 4.88% 5.67% achieved. incorporated as light-scattering centers, while R1P1 containing 50 wt.% has V FF P25, but J still lower that NR.
