摘要: The paper presents an exact solution of the free vibration a rib stiffened, freely supported, circularly cylindrical shell. edge forces curved panels between stiffeners are written in terms deformations, which turn related geometrically to centroidal deformations ribs. Effects eccentricity and finite width ribs included. It is shown that motion structure governed by just four second-order difference equations as functions discrete variable r labelling shows for all modes described trigonometric axial coordinate. Circumferentially, elementary with argument rmrr/n,, m integer. If there n ribs, n/2 unique values giving solutions equations, but each infinite number natural frequencies different modal functions. numerical verify possible importance on frequencies. further demonstrated effects cannot be generalized since they heavily dependent number, size, eccentricity.
