摘要: Department of Physics, Faculty Science, International IslamicUniversity Malaysia, 25200, Kuantan, Malaysia(Dated: June 27, 2014)Dynamics a matter wave soliton bouncing on the reflecting surface (atomic mirror) under theeffect gravity has been studied by analytical and numerical means. The description isbased variational approach. Resonant oscillations soliton’s center mass width, induced appropriate modulation atomic scattering length slope linearpotential are analyzed. In experiments we observe Fermi type acceleration thesoliton when vertical position is periodically varied in time. Analyticalpredictions compared with results simulations Gross-Pitaevskii equationand qualitative agreement between them found.
