摘要: Objective: Numerous factors have unilaterally and synergistically undermined the success of HIV AIDS. It is in light foregoing that this study was undertaken to evaluate some discriminatory experiences people living with Materials Methods: This a descriptive cross-sectional on AIDS attending an outpatient clinic at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital within period 12 weeks. Respondents were recruited consecutively data collected semi-structured questionnaire. Response rate 97.7%, analysis done Epi-info 6 statistical software. Results: Approximately one-fifth (17%) respondents reported discrimination. Exploration sources discrimination showed discriminated against mentioned family members as being responsible 49.1% cases, 23.6% workplace only 3.5% experienced by Government workers. Conclusion: evident achieved so far fight can easily be eroded if issues are not addressed. Various innovative educational strategies targeting all stakeholders may required battle spread virus must won.
