Growth evolution and superparamagnetism of ultrathin Fe films grown on GaN(0001) surfaces

摘要: We have investigated the growth and magnetic properties of Fe films on wurtzite GaN(0001) in ultrathin regime at room temperature (RT). As found from coverage-dependent reflection high-energy electron diffraction patterns, film proceeds three-dimensional Volmer–Weber (VM) mode RT. Coexistence ferromagnetic (FM) superparamagnetic (SPM) phases has been observed a thickness about 5 ML. The zero-field-cooling (ZFC) field-cooling (FC) magnetization measurements under constant field with various temperatures suggested blocking (TB) 120 K.
