This paper examines Ferguslie Park, an area severe, multiple deprivation which is located relatively prosperous town. The emphasis placed on relationship family unemployment, analysis utilises sample economically active, male household heads Park. A regression reveals likelihood rises significantly as number dependent children increases. interpretation implications this finding are discussed final section.
