摘要: This paper describes the Quiet Places Project in Amsterdam. The purpose of study was to find out: (1) which public quiet places there are according Amsterdam residents; (2) what characterizes a place; (3) extent do residents want peace and quiet; (4) how realize these needs. factors determining need for quietness presented model showing influence demographic socio-economic issues, health status, sensitiveness noise, daily activities noisiness around home.
