摘要: Several recent studies have hypothesized that sense-antisense RNA-transcript pairs create dsRNA duplexes undergo extensive A-to-I RNA editing. We studied human and mouse genomic antisense regions found the editing level in these areas is negligible. This observation questions scope of formation in-vivo, which basis for several proposed regulatory mechanisms.
