Cosmic magnification: nulling intrinsic clustering

摘要: We investigate the extent to which pure magnication eect of gravitational lensing can be extracted from galaxy clustering statistics, by a nulling method aims eliminate terms arising intrinsic galaxies. The aim is leave statistics are free uncertainties bias. nd that done eectively, leaving data relatively insensitive in bias and its evolution, leading cosmological parameter estimation eectively unbiased. This advantage comes at expense increased statistical errors, some cases large, but it oers robust alternative analysis cosmic shear for imaging surveys designed weak studies, or full modelling signal including eects.
