摘要: Platinum was electrodeposited onto Y-zeolite and (Y)/Vulcan XC-72R (V) to produce Pt/Y/V Pt/Y catalysts using a rotating disk slurry electrode technique. The activities of the two were measured towards methanol electro-oxidation in alkaline media by cyclic voltammetry chronoamperometry. materials examined electron microscopy. results compared those obtained on commercial catalysts. (with 14 wt% Pt) catalyst most active, even more so than Pt/V with 20 Pt. contained Pt nanoparticles tetrahedra, likely consequence nucleation growth within zeolite framework.
