摘要: This review focuses on current knowledge of leptin biology and the role in various physiological pathophysiological states. Leptin is involved regulation body weight. Serum can probably be considered as one best biological markers reflecting total fat both animals humans. Obesity man accompanied by increased circulating concentrations. Gender differences clearly exist. not only correlated to a series endocrine parameters such insulin, glucocorticoids, thyroid hormones, testosterone, but it also seems mediating some mechanisms (onset puberty, insulin secretion) diseases (obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome). It has been suggested that act growth factor fetus neonate.
