摘要: The performances of the porous and nonporous α-alumina (α-Al2O3) for decomposition ethylene in a dielectric-packed bed plasma reactor were comparatively examined with respect to efficiency formation byproducts. was mainly controlled by discharge power, oxygen content, properties alumina, such as porosity surface area. addition small quantity led an increase generation oxidative species which eventually increased efficiency. In presence 5 % oxygen, at initial concentration 1,898 ppm completely oxidized into CO or CO2 when using α-alumina. On other hand, resulted incomplete oxidation, producing several carbon-containing byproducts than CO2. Moreover, conditions kept constant, obtained higher that one, suggesting adsorption capability packing material plays important role process.
