摘要: This article reviews the most recent literature addressing analytical methods applied for trihalomethanes (THMs) determination in water samples. analysis is usually performed with gas chromatography (GC) combined a preconcentration step. The detectors widely used this type of analyses are mass spectrometers (MS) and electron capture (ECD). Here, we review characteristics, time required analysis, simplicity optimised methods. main difference between these lies sample pretreatment step; therefore, special emphasis placed on aspect. techniques covered direct aqueous injection (DAI), liquid-liquid extraction (LLE), headspace (HS), membrane-based techniques. We also chromatographic columns employed consider novel aspects such as use fast (FGC). Concerning detection step, besides common techniques, uncommon fluorescence detector, pulsed discharge photoionization detector (PDPID), dry electrolytic conductivity (DELCD), atomic emission (AED) inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) described.
