Calculating the Superconformal Index and Seiberg Duality

摘要: We develop techniques to calculate an index for four dimensional superconformal field theories. This is counting BPS operators which preserve only one supercharge. To the we quantize theory on S^3 X R and show that twisted has appropriate mass gap. allows interactions be switched off continuously without being changed. test those theories go through a non-trivial RG flow Seiberg dual leads conjecture of some group/number theoretical identities.
