摘要: Large-scale and ubiquitous penetration of wind power generation to systems necessitates more conservative provision system reliability by ensuring adequately committed reserve observance transmission constraints. In addition, curtailment due the technical limitations operations, such as congestion, should be efficiently mitigated. To this aim, paper presents a congestion risk-aware unit commitment formulation in two-settlement market environment. The uncertainty impact multicorrelated contingencies on risk for each line, called Line Transfer Margins (LTM), is incorporated using basic statistical data nodal forecast probability credible line-outages across system. LTMs, formulated free any distributional assumptions, collectively provide measure reserves, which effectively mitigate likelihood undeliverability, real-time economic dispatch. effectiveness proposed approach verified through comparative case studies IEEE RTS-96 various LTM scenarios.
