摘要: A branching out of clinical neuropsychology into that area concerned with developmental disorders known or suspected neurological origin is foreseeable. The beginnings this diversification are already evident in the titles several major texts published recent years (e.g. Gaddes, 1980; Hynd & Obrzut, 1981; Rourke et al., 1983; Obrzut Hynd, 1986). Indeed, Barkley (1983) has gone so far as to anticipate emergence a fully-individuated specialty which he gave name ‘child neuropsychology’. alternative expression ‘paediatric neuro-psychology’ crept literature at least once (Stoddart Knights, 1986) and certain appeal compared former, not simply on grounds phraseological parsimony, but because it directly parallels traditional medical subdivision neurology’ (Gordon, 1976).
