摘要: Gully pots are essential assets designed to relief the downstream system by trapping solids and attached pollutants suspended in runoff. This study applied a methodology develop quantitative gully pot sedimentation blockage model. To this end, sediment bed level time series from 300 pots, spanning 15 months, were collected. A generalised linear mixed modelling (GLMM) approach was model quantify accumulation of identify relevant physical catchment properties that influence complex processes. Results show retaining efficiency decreases as levels increase. Two typical silting evolutions identified. Approximately 5% all experienced progressive silting, eventually resulting blockage. The other stabilising levels. depth sand trap, elapsed since cleaning road type identified be main discriminating Furthermore, exhibit no residual spatial correlation, indicating vulnerability is reduced adjacent provide form redundancy. findings may aid improve maintenance strategies order safeguard performance pots.
