摘要: Abstract. Lithospheric ultra low frequency (ULF) magnetic activity is recently considered as a very promising candidate for application to short-time earthquake forecasting. However the intensity of ULF lithospheric field weak and often masked by much stronger ionospheric magnetospheric signals. The study pre-earthquake before occurrence strong hard problem which consists identification localization signal sources in hazardous areas Earth's crust. For separation such sources, we used new polarization ellipse technique (Dudkin et al., 2010) process data acquired from fluxgate magnetometers installed Sichuan province, China. region strongest seismic on territory During last century, about 40 earthquakes with magnitude M ≥ 6.5 happened here close proximity heavy populated zones.
