摘要: AIM The study aim was to determine whether the Jass classification is superior that of Astler-Coller (modification Dukes' stage) in determining prognosis patients treated for colorectal carcinoma. STUDY DESIGN authors used Jass' restage 263 who had undergone radical surgery and classified according Astler-Coller. RESULTS results revealed that: 1) Astler-Coller's enables more accurate selection patient groups where life expectancy can be predicted; 2) statistically significant (P <0.05) improved prognostic discrimination B2 patients, which probability nonrecurrence disease around 60%. CONCLUSIONS Although still valid, useful patients.
