摘要: Life Cycle Assessment methodology has been applied to estimate diverse environmental impacts of different usage alternatives for worn-out tires at the end their useful life in a case study Department Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Different real scenarios were compared, which allowed assessment best option management tires. A method developed Institute Environmental Sciences University Leiden, better known as CML-2001, was used calculate impact indicators. The results show that incineration whole cement plants, and activities grinding floor manufacturing from granulated rubber, exhibited indicators, especially terms load avoidance through recovery materials. Finally, categories depletion ozone layer, acidification, global warming potential, abiotic resources, photochemical formation revealed strongest are associated with retreading production multipart asphalt. This is due use synthetic rubber former alternative, liquid asphalt, gravel, diesel consumption latter.
