摘要: This study investigates the economics of water as used by smallholder irrigation farmers in South Africa. The productivity and value were estimated with data from two schemes: Zanyokwe Thabina. Production parameters such fertilisers, seeds, pesticides, equipment, transport, labour, treated inputs. Various methodologies to estimate value, including cost-based approaches, thoroughly reviewed. aim was select ones more justification for use sector also compare a number approaches. On case basis, three methods applied: residual valuation method, willingness pay approaches (i.e. accounting costs O&M). Water values then evaluated per crop, farmer, scheme. Also, cross-section regression analysis investigate effect some key socio-economic factors production on gross margin pay. (Resume d'auteur)
