Afrotropical Cynipoidea (Hymenoptera)

摘要: The Afrotropical Cynipoidea are represented by 306 described species and 54 genera in four families: Cynipidae, Figitidae, Liopteridae Ibaliidae, the latter a single introduced species. Seven of these only undescribed region. new genus-level synonymies, one genus resurrected from synonymy, combinations, combination reinstated, replacement name presented. We provide identification keys to families, subfamilies cynipoid wasps occurring region (Africa south Sahara, including Madagascar southern Arabian Peninsula). This paper constitutes first contributory chapter book on Hymenoptera.
