摘要: Abstract The optical emission of plasmas moderate temperature and pressure (T ≈ 104 K, N 1017 cm−3) has been still is the subject many experimental investigations. It results mainly from free-bound free-free transitions electrons in fields ions, contribution bremsstrahlung increasing with wavelength. For shorter wavelengths, agrees well calculations using simple model potentials but shows an excess for longer cause which not yet clear. Since these are weakly non-ideal (non-ideality parameter Г ⩽ 0.1) theory refers to ideal case, at least part difference might be due a change absorption cross sections caused by plasma interaction. In this paper, we restrict ourselves calculation field argon ion, potential combines consistently scaled Thomas-Fermi ion core Debye-Huckel given form temperature-averaged Gaunt factors, can related those means approximation formula, first Green, one-electron systems small screening. changes resultant emissivity show decrease rather than increase pressure, so that they cannot explain specified discrepancy.
