Violence against Women and Girls: Lessons from South Asia

摘要: This report looks at the drivers and factors associated with gender-based violence across South Asia. It finds that against women girls is prevalent persistent costs are crippling to individuals societies economies. Drawing on various disciplines review a large body of literature it provides comprehensive overview prevalence varioustypes in Asia (Afghanistan Bangladesh Bhutan India Maldives Nepal Pakistan Sri Lanka) including practice child marriage highlights gaps where further research interventions needed.
