Kith, kin and psychiatric health: a Scottish survey.

摘要: In a recent community survey of women in Edinburgh, Scotland, sub-sample the respondents initially interviewed were re-visited 6 months and 1 year later. During each interview assessments made mental state, onset offset all diagnosable illness episodes recorded. Each additionally assessed demographic factors range social relationships available to from both familial non-familial sources. Any losses or prolonged separations parents during childhood also noted. Provisional results concerning relationship these factors, alone combination, course disorder are presented. The preliminary study suggest that determinants prevalence differ those prognosis.
