摘要: This study has two parts. In the first part, fourteen carcinogen risk assessments of acrylamide made by different expert groups during years 1976-2002 are compared in terms their overall conclusions and use primary data. second public debate on cancer risks questioning assessment, that arose as a reaction to identification this substance staple food is discussed. part it shown assessors concur large degree about assessment potential cause cancer. Three have concluded neither carcinogenic humans nor animals, while eleven animals likely be humans. The differences seem extent explained an evolving database. agree considerably how interpret evaluate available data, but coverage references low. These results also those previously published trichloroethylene. arguments used question summarized argued they not based principles generally accepted toxicological assessment.
