摘要: Seasonal and spatial distribution of an anuran assemblage (Amphibia) in a man-altered area Rio Acima – Minas Gerais state, Brazil. Habitat modification has been pointed as one the main causes population decline extinction several species. Studies on communities disturbed areas are very important for they provide data about new organization assemblages, imposed by intense habitats. An amphibian (Anura) was studied urban under strong human pressure, 35 km southeast Belo Horizonte (Minas state). Data collection performed between March/2002 March/2003, totaling 22 nights observations. Fourteen species from three families were detected: Bufonidae (1), Leptodactylidae (5) Hylidae (8). Most species, well largest number individuals, recorded during warm wet months year. use quite restricted among unlike substrates. High substrate overlap observed hylids, which, besides sharing many types substrate, occupied same heights vegetation. The vegetation at margins ponds, considered most local anurans. Reproductive evidence four beginning reproductive period Physalaemus cuvieri Hyla faber associated with rainy season, while Bufo crucifer Scinax longilineus reproduced mostly dry months. variety habitats richness, compared to other studies region, suggest that study area, although greatly modified, may be importance ecological corridor.
