摘要: Fusarium graminearum is a fungal pathogen that causes head blight (FHB) in cereal crops. Identifying proteins are secreted from pathogens to overcome plant defenses and cause disease, collectively known as effectors, can reveal new targets for fungicides or other control measures. Proximity-dependent biotin identification (BioID) was used identify potential effector planta by F. during the infection of Arabidopsis seedlings. BioID analysis revealed over 300 graminearum, which 99 were considered be candidate (CEPs). A subset CEPs functionally characterized wheat. Assays examining ability CEP induce cell death affect growth bacterial performed determine their role defenses. The expression four wheat found alter growth, supporting putative promoting graminearum.
