摘要: ABSTRACTAnthropologists and social scientists are regularly asked to submit ‘expert’ reports focusing on social, cultural or political conditions in refugee-producing nation states behalf of human rights organisations lawyers representing refugee claimants the Global North. In this paper I reflect my own participation production these cumulative effect expert documents sexual orientation gender identity claims as they accrue electronic folders courts, state immigration departments, producing a governmental archive knowledge gendered identity. argue that archives reinforce homonationalist discourses which contain highly delimited – neo-liberal, classed raced definition is folded into some states' good immigrant proper citizen, simultaneously creating its opposite, bad deviant citizen.
