摘要: Exocytosis involves the fusion of intracellular secretory vesicles with plasma membrane, thereby delivering integral membrane proteins to cell surface and releasing material into extracellular space. Importantly, exocytosis also provides a source lipid moieties for extension. The tethering vesicle before docking is mediated by exocyst complex, an evolutionary conserved octameric complex proteins. Recent findings indicate that takes part in other intra-cellular processes besides secretion. These various functions seem converge toward defining direction growth range systems from fungi plants neurons cilia. In this review we summarize current knowledge function polarity, signaling cell-cell communication discuss implications plant animal health disease.
