A Novel Enzymatic Method for Preparation and Characterization of Collagen Film from Swim Bladder of Fish Rohu (Labeo rohita)

摘要: A novel enzymatic method for extraction and preparation of fish collagen from swim bladder revealed the occurrence α, β γ bands with approximately 12.1 g/100g corresponding to 89% thus confirmed nativity purity collagen. FT-IR studies retention all three amide I, II III, triple helixcity. UN-crosslinked UV-crosslinked membrane records a very high temperature helix denaturation at 197℃ 215℃, shrinkage 50℃ ± 3.2℃ 62℃ 2.7℃ tensile strength 16.89 2.5 120.02 1.0 Kg/cm2 respectively. Fish matrix promoted NIH 3T3 L6 cellular growth proliferation. The study indicates that availability pure could replace bovine in tissue engineering applications.
