摘要: Consecutive nonlinear optical interactions consisting of two coupled parametric processes, namely, the nondegenerate spontaneous down-conversion and up-conversion, are analyzed. The vacuum state input light is considered to be an unstable decaying into a reservoir down-converted modes, with one modes generated being continuously measured using up-conversion process. Mean photon numbers at interacting frequencies studied. Special attention paid case where coupling coefficient for process much larger than that down-conversion. It shown in this result such consecutive can interpreted from viewpoint quantum Zeno effect.
