摘要: Formation of Rydberg atoms due to 1s→nlm excitations hydrogen, for arbitrary n, l, m, by positron impact in weakly coupled plasma has been investigated using a distorted-wave theory the momentum space. The interactions among charged particles have represented Debye-Huckel potentials. Making use simple variationally determined wave function hydrogen atom, it possible obtain scattering amplitude closed analytical form. A detailed study made on effects screening differential and total cross sections energy range 20–300 eV incident positron. For unscreened case, our results agree nicely with some most accurate available literature. To best knowledge, such inelastic positron-hydrogen collisions m plasmas is first reported
