摘要: A highly turbulent flow was achieved by an opposed jet burner and annular premixed flame produced around the impinging mixture jets. In present study, characteristic features of this were made clear experimentally. Schlieren pictures show that large scale wrinkles are on unburned gas side zone. With increasing velocity, these becomes smaller. Concurrently, a stringy microstructure appears intermittently burned side. For extremely high velocity case, disappear whole combustion field is filled with bundles microstructure. moderate PDF's temperature essentially bimodal profile probability intermediate temperature. On where observed, disappears, suggesting zone consists small eddies completely products preheated or partially reacted gas. This structure enhances mixing within uniform developed. The cross sectional radial distributions chemiluminescence emission C 2 , CH OH radicals obtained Abel transform side-on observation. peak at center indicates thickness peaks coincide each other fall From profiles, it found vortex tubes enter deeply into region.
