摘要: Geranylgeranylacetone (GGA) is a chaperon inducer that protects various types of cell and tissue against stress. We examined whether GGA modulated energy intake expenditure under stressful conditions. After mice were untreated or treated orally with (0.16 g per kg body weight day) for 10 days, they subjected to 2-h restraint stress once day 5 consecutive days. administration did not affect corticosterone response the Restraint rapidly decreased plasma leptin levels in control mice. significantly increased circulating without changing food prevented stress-induced decline leptin. However GGA-treated reduced during repeated stress, compared mRNA its protein epidydimal adipose tissues. also found ghrelin expression gastric mucosa before whereas recovered baseline level after Leptin are now recognized as regulators anxiety depressive mood. Our results suggest may regulate relief mood disturbance through regulating secretions.
