摘要: Tinnitus is a common disorder with many possible causes. Most cases of tinnitus are subjective, but occasionally the can be heard by an examiner. Otologic problems, especially hearing loss, most causes subjective tinnitus. Common conductive loss include external ear infection, cerumen impaction, and middle effusion. Sensorineural may caused exposure to excessive loud noise, presbycusis, ototoxic medications, or Meniere's disease. Unilateral plus should increase suspicion for acoustic neuroma. Subjective also neurologic, metabolic, psychogenic disorders. Objective usually vascular abnormalities carotid artery jugular venous systems. Initial evaluation thorough history, head neck examination, audiometric testing identify underlying etiology. pulsatile more serious pathology typically merits specialized radiologic studies. In patients who discomforted have no remediable cause, auditory masking provide some relief.
