摘要: Increased lymphangiogenesis is a common feature of cancer development and progression, yet the influence impaired on tumor growth elusive. C3HBA breast KHT-1 sarcoma cell lines were implanted orthotopically in Chy mice, harboring heterozygous inactivating mutation vascular endothelial factor receptor-3, resulting dermal lymphangiogenesis. Accelerated was observed both models coinciding with reduced peritumoral An lymphatic washout from area mice tumors, number macrophages significantly reduced. While fewer detected, fraction CD163+ M2 remained constant, causing shift towards higher M2/M1 ratio mice. No difference adaptive immune cells between wt Interestingly, levels pro- anti-inflammatory macrophage-associated cytokines pointing to an innate response. However, IL-6 profoundly elevated interstitial fluid, treatment anti-IL-6 receptor antibody tocilizumab inhibited growth. Collectively, our data indicate that weakens anti-tumor immunity favors at early stage development.
