摘要: Background: The prognostic significance of O6-methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase (MGMT) promoter status for survival patients with malignant gliomas remains controversial. Thus, the meta-analysis was performed in order to identify impact MGMT expression on prognosis gliomas. Method: An extensive literature search relevant studies conducted PubMed, Embase, Web Science, Cochrane Library, and CBM databases. Version 12.0 STATA software used current meta-analysis. Hazard ratios (HRs) their corresponding 95% confidence interval (95% CI) were also calculated clarify correlation between Results: Final analysis 2,377 from 32 clinical performed. results show that group unmethylated has a significant difference (all P < 0.01). Combined HR suggests methylated longer overall than (P 0.01), but Asians don’t present two groups. Conclusion: study shows elevated may have better patients, prognosis.
