摘要: The discretionary lane-changing behavior is highly associated with crash occurrence. This paper investigates the dynamic tradeoff between safety and efficiency influencing factors of decision-making process for lane-change. A random parameters logit approach heterogeneity in means variances employed on a microscopic vehicle trajectory dataset. Four vehicles are analyzed as group, both distance-related speed-related taken into account to examine their effects. modeling results indicate that (1) two variables produce significant variances, while there only one variable having result variances; (2) relationship speed mean clearance distance leading current lane quantitatively demonstrates when driver decides whether change lanes, considers (i.e., safety) efficiency) at same time; (3) number gradually decreased during process. It decision where drivers select more critical pay attention them.
