摘要: A saturable reactor is one of the important components converter valves in high-voltage direct current transmission systems. With ever-increasing capacities valves, heat losses generated by reactors are also increasing. Thus, a thermal–fluid mechanics coupled dissipation model for proposed. In order to study factors affecting thermal reactor, epoxy resin insulating layers with different conductivity were considered this work. The simulation results showed that hot spots on iron core and close pipe inlet most can be extracted cooling effect improved raising resin. conductivities used two 0.8 1.2 W/mK, respectively. time dependence temperature was accordance maximum temperatures consistent results. By increasing insulation layer, could significantly reduced.
