摘要: Narrow-leaved cattails were studied in synthetic reactive dye wastewater (SRDW) under caustic conditions. The effects of the toxic expressed terms relative plant growth rate and appearance symptoms such as necrosis, chronic or acute wilting. toxicity was 25.33 mg l(-1) which close to approximate concentration residue from textile effluent public stream. system pH % color removal decreased, indicating that narrow-leaved cattail can treat wastewater. average decreased 9 7. maximum approximately 60% when cultured soil SEM image root after treatment with SRDW indicated cortex damaged crystalline sodium salts deposited cells caused evaporation transpiration SRDW. salinity conditions also affects plants. 44% found within 14 days. A small amount could enhance rate. However, plants limited third week treatment. It should be noted are known avoid salt stress during through special mechanisms accumulation roots shedding older leaves. In addition, elements silicon, calcium iron might help detoxify by forming complexes molecules.
