摘要: Tumoral dissemination of ovarian cancer most commonly occurs through the intra-peritoneal route; nevertheless, although it is rare, may also metastasise lymphatic channels. Lymphatic diffusion usually involves pelvic and retro-peritoneal lymph nodes. Extra-abdominal nodes are rarely involved their detection represent a challenge for oncologist. We describe here two patients studied by [18F]fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed (CT): one case during pre-operative staging, other restaging after surgery. In both cases PET examination identified extra-abdominal node tumoral spread in left supra-clavicular space; biopsy led to final diagnosis recurrent cancer. Previous reports literature on however this possible site metastatic involvement has be kept mind oncologists our data show that 18F-FDG PET/CT useful disclose unusual supra-diaphragmatic
