摘要: Growth and development of cotton fibers in a developmental mutant, Ligon-lintless, its near isogenic wild type, Texas Marker-1, were compared ovule cell suspension cultures. In both organ cultures the pattern growth fiber cells from two genotypes mimicked ofin vivo growth. The timing initiation soon after anthesis Ligon-lintless suggests that on this mutant are analogous to commercially important lint fibers. Length distributions elongated culture Marker-1 indicate length attained is affected by genotype explant tissue.
