摘要: In the present paper a simulation method is proposed for evaluation of paths and lives fatigue cracks. The based on an incremental crack extension procedure. At each increment stress analysis ahead tip carried out by finite element method, next crack-growth path predicted first order perturbation with use local symmetry criterion. From computational viewpoint, step-by-step rezoning mesh subdivision one most difficult processes to overcome this difficulty, we shall modified quadtree as automatic generation technique. Considerations are made proper arrangement in vicinity tip, where special fine pattern embedded so that mixed mode intensity factors higher coefficients near field parameters can accurately be obtained. Using simulate branched curved growth three-point-bending specimens. They show fairly good agreement experimental results. procedure also applied biaxially loaded cruciform joints.
