Treating Food and Liquid Refusal in an Adolescent With Asperger’s Disorder:

摘要: Food refusal is a complicated condition that has both medical and social implications. In this study, 16-year-old boy with Asperger’s disorder, dependent on gastrostromy tube feedings for 9 years, treated behavioral intervention. The intervention consists of several components, including stimulus fading solids liquids, token economy solids, an escape prevention component liquids. Before treatment, the participant consumes three different foods water. After consuming 78 13 beverages. At end 14 days all participant’s intakes are received orally, eliminated, patient gained more than 1 pound oral feedings. generalized to home school settings, maintenance treatment gains reported by parents 3 months after treatment.
