摘要: This chapter deals with investigation of cyanobacteria species varying in their morphologic and metabolic properties during cultivation under different light regimes.The presented evidence suggests that the manifestations ultrastructural plasticity grown high or darkness are indicative build-up certain mechanisms adaptation to unfavorable illumination conditions: reversible thylakoid swelling; regulation synthesis, degradation glycogen; L-transformation, heterogeneity responses cells similar stressor. The highest diversity was found characterized by versatility metabolism. pioneering works dedicated visualization photooxidative destruction thylakoids included this chapter. A special section is devoted experiments on irradiation cell suspensions visible high-intensity light.
