This paper reviews the Canadian literature on men who purchase sexual and presents results of self-administered survey conducted in Greater Vancouver such men. The describes general demographic characteristics sample selected their sex-buying behaviour. Because heightened concern about large number street-level sex workers have gone missing or been murdered, order to offer some reflections prohibitionist argument that prostitution is ubiquitous, examines self-reported commission against other people. We also examine being victimized by workers.
